Barbara Webb

Licensed Clinical Social Worker

My Biography

Barbara describes herself as someone who is liberal. She is a pet lover and volunteers at a pet shelter. She is married and resides with her husband and their three pets. She enjoys downhill skiing and other winter sports. She had hopes of being a figure skater but chose to follow her educational pursuits instead. Barbara focuses on finding the positive strengths in people. While growing up we often form our opinions about ourselves from feedback we receive from family, friends, co-workers, teachers, coaches, and many others. This belief we form about ourselves can often be incorrect. It may be carried into adulthood which can create personal difficulties due to possibly trying to live up to a belief system that no longer is true to the person you are today. I often use information from someone’s past that may carry misconceptions and use that to discover how it may be negatively impacting someone’s quality of life and present day lifestyle.
