Dawn Schulte is a Clinical Social Worker, licensed in Missouri and Illinois, with a graduate certificate in Gerontology. Dawn earned her Bachelor of Social Work degree from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and her Master of Social Work degree from University of Missouri, St. Louis.
Dawn has spent her career with a focus on the aging population – chronic debility, life transitions, end of life concerns, and bereavement. Whether it’s finding peace and acceptance as you are and where you are, or grieving a loss and paving a new path, Dawn implements Mindfulness Based interventions to focus on the mind-body-spirit connection and draw on a strengths-based approach with clients.
Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Crisis Intervention Model, Narrative Therapy, Problem Solving Model, Solution Focused Therapy, Dual Process Model and Task-Based Model within the Family Systems Theory, she works with clients to tell their story with clarity and empower positive change.
