Holly Harris is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with approximately 10+ years of social work experience in Southeastern Illinois. She received a bachelor’s degree in Social Work at Southern Illinois University Carbondale in 2005. While pursuing her master’s degree she worked in a long-term residential setting as a social service/activities assistant. She completed her graduate program in 2007 and went on to obtain her License in Clinical Social Work a few years later in 2009. Upon obtaining her license she was accepted to the National Health Service Corps and continued to work in healthcare shortage areas through that program.
Although she has a passion for working with older adults she has worked with a variety of different ages ranging from 5-95. She has experience in providing mental Health, Substance abuse, and Crisis Intervention services for all age groups. She has facilitated therapy groups focused on a variety of mental health and substance abuse needs in addition to individual therapy. She is excited to continue her work with older adults. Holly utilizes a cognitive behavior therapy approach and has training in Family Directed Structural Therapy.
