Kristi PashiaLicensed Clinical Social Worker

I strongly believe that every person has a story, and each of their stories is as unique and as important as the individual telling it. In working with my clients I strive to develop a therapeutic alliance with each client while utilizing a Person Centered and Humanistic style of therapy. I am also able to also use CBT, DBT, and motivational interviewing to help address depression, anxiety, and other mental health diagnoses.
I have been drawn to the idea of helping others from a very young age. In the pursuit of my passion for helping others I received my Masters in Social Work degree with a concentration in Mental Health from the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana in 2017. I have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Illinois since February 2021. My clinical background consists of primarily working with adults and families in an array of areas: anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, trauma, stress management, relationship issues, and managing major life transitions.
I look forward to hearing your story and providing you support as you work towards your goals. I am available for evening appointments via telehealth, zoom, or in person.
