Bethany Borrenpohl is a Licensed Clinical Social who started this practice in 2015. Bethany graduated from SIU Edwardsville with her Master’s in Social Work. She went on to work for a local mental health organization providing counseling and case management services to those suffering from chronic mental illness. Bethany spent the following 4 years serving a local hospital where she worked closely with seniors, families, and local healthcare providers such as home health agencies, nursing facilities, and hospice agencies. Bethany is also a member of National Association of Social Workers.
Bethany works with kids over age 13, adults, and seniors. She specializes in Grief Counseling, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Crisis Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Narrative Counseling, and Family Systems Therapy. Bethany helps people work through issues including, but not limited to, depression, anxiety, grief, behavior issues, early dementia, bipolar disorder, family conflict, personality disorders, peer relationships, self-esteem, trauma and PTSD, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, issues related to end of life, and paranoia.
Bethany and her husband Kenny live in rural Washington County with their 3 children.
