Laura Marcum is a Licensed Clinical Social worker with over 17 years’ experience helping clients work through grief, women’s issues, depression, anxiety, and substance use disorder. Additionally, she has a special interest in aging and memory care. Her interest in the elderly population stems from her experience as a child when she would visit residents at her great-grandmother’s nursing home. Laura takes clients of all ages and offers Telehealth services. She is a proponent of pet therapy and looks forward to “Bernie”(soon to be therapy dog) working beside her.
Laura received a Bachelor of Science degree from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and Master’s degree in Social Work from University of Illinois. She resides in O’Fallon, Illinois, with her husband, three daughters, and three dogs. In her free time she enjoys swimming, traveling, and spending time with family.
