My Biography
Brittney obtained her Bachelor’s in Social Work at Indiana State University and her Master of Social Work at Indiana University-Purdue University. After completing her degrees, Brittney had a variety of work experiences including hospice, therapy with DCS clients, group therapy with seniors, and primary care social work with veterans. Currently, Brittney works full time as a primary care social worker for the Department of Veteran Affairs, while offering therapy services in the evenings via telehealth.
Brittney has experience utilizing a strengths perspective to assist clients in focusing on ways to build upon their own strengths to cope with issues that they may be facing. Brittney also utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy and
motivational interviewing.
Brittney enjoys spending time with her husband, two children, and three dogs. Other hobbies include playing slow pitch softball and reading.
