My Approach to Counseling
I am looking forward to joining you in your wellness journey. I have 15+ years of experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, and the geriatric populations in an individual and group context. I seek to address client needs holistically; seeking to understand their mental, physical, social, and spiritual aspects of their authentic selves. I possess a warm and accepting personality that creates a safe and collaborative environment or clients to openly express themselves. I utilize an eclectic approach while in therapy. Some theoretical orientations include, but are not limited to, Cognitive, Behavioral, Person-Centered, Solution-Focused and Mindfulness practices. I appreciate that all individuals are unique and possess self-determination to foster the changes they desire.
