My Biography
Katie Terrell is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 10 years of experience in the mental health field. She has experience working with children in the foster care system, adults in drug court, adults in a private practice setting, and family counseling. Additionally, she has a special interest working with clients suffering from co-occurring and anxiety disorders. She uses several different theoretical orientations in her work to fit each client’s needs. Katie takes clients of all ages, but her specialty is working with adolescents and young adults. She resides in O’Fallon, Illinois, with her husband and 5 sons. In her free time, she enjoys swimming, traveling and the St. Louis Cardinals.

I use a range of therapeutic techniques such as motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, and solution focused therapy. I believe every client is unique and so it is important to find a therapeutic approach that will fit their specific needs. I have experience with anger management groups, co-occurring groups, working with families, children, adolescents, and adults. My specialty is working with teenagers and adults.
