My Approach to Counseling
I provide client focused therapy utilizing several modalities to fit the needs of the person I am working with. I look at therapy as a partnership providing the client a safe environment. My primary approach comes from attachment theory recognizing that how we learn to connect to others as children can often affect our ability to have healthy relationships as adults. Trauma can interfere with a healthy sense of self and does not just affect our mental health but our physical health as well.
